SHRM SWFL is proud to partner with Florida Gulf Coast University's (FGCU) SHRM student chapter.  The SHRM SWFL Chapter's Board of Directors are dedicated to providing resources and assistance to future Human Resources professionals. The Chapter encourages students to participate in our monthly meetings and events.

We encourage our Chapter members to assist with student Chapter initiatives which include:

• Participation in monthly student Chapter meetings
• Participation in annual interview and resume review workshops
• Mentor local human resources students
• Coordinate with student chapter to provide on-site work visits

The FGCU SHRM Student Chapter, for the second time in a row, won the SHRM Student Case Competition at the HR Florida Leadership Conference in October 2024. Their hard work, dedication, and teamwork allowed them to earn this prestigious award. Congratulations to the FGCU students who participated in this competition.
